RESEARCH INTERESTS
Started PhD at Monash University using Functional MRI (fMRI) to investigate the neural modulation of airway inputs in the higher brain and subcortical cortex of the brain in 2019. The PhD project focused on identifying brain regions that can be targeted for therapeutic intervention to address chronic cough and other related pulmonary airway disease. Published novel outcomes of my project in the form of publications in reputable journals such as CHEST during my PhD studies and successfully obtained my PhD in 2022. During my PhD studies, I also worked as a Lecturer at Monash University mainly teaching students enrolled in Year 1 of the Bachelor of Medical Imaging & Medical Radiation Sciences.
My research interests also span into improve patient care in Radiology departments by investigating the current trend in Computed Tomography and MRI protocols and how we can incorporate the advances in machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve patient care for the public community.
