TEACHING EXPERTISE

My teaching spans core areas of the Medical Imaging curriculum, combining discipline-specific clinical education with research training. I teach Medical Imaging Practice units that develop students' knowledge and skills in patient positioning, radiographic principles, image acquisition, and examination protocols across multiple imaging modalities, including general radiography, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). These units prepare students to apply theoretical knowledge in clinical practice while developing sound clinical reasoning and professional competence.

I also teach Research Methods and Critical Appraisal, where I support students in developing the skills required to critically evaluate the scientific literature and apply evidence-based practice principles. Students are guided through the process of identifying a research question, conducting a critical literature review, developing a research proposal, and preparing an ethics application, equipping them with the foundational skills required for research and lifelong scholarly practice.
