RESEARCH INTERESTS
Specifically, Shiva's research mainly focuses on the validating, calibrating, and updating of CVD risk prediction models for older adults. Also, she uses machine-learning algorithms to dive into large datasets for accurate prediction along with the Identification of factors that are most significant in the modeling/predictive process of CVD and depression risk in older adults.
