    My most outstanding career highlight was to be conferred an Alfred Deakin Professor in 2018, for outstanding and sustained contribution to furthering Deakin's research and teaching, and the highest honour the University can bestow on a member of the academic staff.
  • CAREER HIGHLIGHT
    In 2014 I was one of 26 international leading scientists invited to participate in the Ernst Strungman forum in Frankfurt, Germany to address key gaps in knowledge in global issues relating to Heavy Metals and Infectious Diseases, and in 2007 the Australian Governmen nominated me as one of 10 scientists to participate in the Indo-Australia Bioremediation Conference in Delhi, India.
