RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Georgiana Cameron's research interests center on the relationships between trauma and transdiagnostic factors, including the shared mechanisms underlying various mental health challenges. She is particularly passionate about advancing trauma-informed approaches, with a focus on their implementation in educational and clinical settings. Georgiana's work explores trauma-aware education and its impact on fostering resilience in individuals and communities, as well as addressing compassion fatigue among teachers and other helping professionals. Through her research, she aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of how trauma-informed practices can be effectively integrated to promote well-being and sustainable outcomes across diverse populations.
