RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests include Human Rights Law, Refugee Law and Public Law.



I am currently undertaking projects on the following aspects of human rights law:

1. The Right to Protest under international law and as implemented in Australia, including: the definition of 'disruptive' protest; the legality of property damage; policing practices.

 

2. Protest in the context of Countering Extremism and Hate Speech (particularly the banning of certain protest slogans).

3. Freedom of Artistic Expression.
