BIO
Dr Musa Nicholas John Manning holds a PhD in Education and a Master of Adult Education and Training from Deakin University. His research and teaching interests focus on the development of critical thinking within the Associate Degree program, drawing on its intellectual foundations in psychology, sociology, philosophy, and education. He also specialises in curriculum and pedagogy in Australian higher education, and in applying Heidegger’s hermeneutic phenomenology and Gadamer’s Hermeneutic Circle to deepen understandings of critical inquiry and learning.
Dr Manning is an experienced educator whose teaching career spans multiple countries, including the United Arab Emirates, the People’s Republic of China, Australia, and the United States of America. His work focuses on deepening understandings of educational pedagogy and management principles in higher education, with a particular interest in how these approaches shape learner development and institutional practice.
