TEACHING EXPERTISE

Jane has over 20 years' expereince in primary classrooms and school mathematics leadership.

Since joining Deakin in 2024 she has been involved both teaching and chairing a range of units across primary education and early childhood education.

Jane has recently designed, developed and built two new mathematics units for the Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Early Childhood Education courses. Both of these units draw upon novel assessment design, underpinned by Deakin's authentic assessment for learning guidelines to support students in linking theory with practice.
