I have extensive teaching experience across information technology, computer science, software engineering, data analytics, artificial intelligence, information systems and computer systems. I have taught in both Australian and international higher education contexts, including Deakin University, Swinburne University of Technology, Queensland University of Technology Online, Kaplan Business School and Najran University. At Deakin University, I teach and contribute to units across information technology, computer systems, data analytics, machine learning and real-world analytics. My teaching approach emphasises active learning, authentic assessment, feedback literacy, inclusive teaching and student partnership. I aim to help students develop strong technical foundations while also building confidence, communication skills, ethical awareness and real-world problem-solving capability. My teaching practice is strongly informed by student feedback and reflective improvement. I use scaffolded learning activities, practical demonstrations, formative feedback, clear assessment guidance and real-world examples to support diverse learners, including international students and students from varied academic backgrounds. I am also interested in the responsible use of generative AI in teaching and learning, particularly to support feedback, student engagement and authentic assessment design.
