DrYang Shi

Yang Shi is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Discipline of Finance (Property and Real Estate). Her primary research interests lie in real estate finance and behavioral economics in housing markets. She is also interested in online economics and platforms such as PropTech and FinTech. She received her PhD degree in Finance from The University of Melbourne. Previously, she obtained an MPhil in Real Estate and Finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, an MSc in Banking and Financial Market from the University of Bath, and a BSc in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (major) and Finance (minor) from Shanghai University. Her research has been presented at several international real estate and finance conferences, including AREUEA-ASSA and AFA, and published in Information Systems Research and Journal of Banking and Finance. She serves as an ad hoc reviewer for PLOS ONE, Regional Science and Urban Economics, and Accounting and Finance.
