RESEARCH INTERESTS

Tanjima’s research interests encompass a variety of advanced topics in carbon fibre and composites, including:

o   Development of low-cost precursors through novel dissolution and modified carbonisation methods.

o   Establishment of a sustainable, low-energy production process for Green Carbon Fibre (GCF).

o   Comprehensive cost analysis to evaluate the economic feasibility of GCF production.

o   Examination of the environmental impact of the carbon fibre production process.

o   Exploration of potential industrial applications for Green Carbon Fibre (GCF).

By integrating these methodologies, this research aims to foster innovation in sustainable materials, contributing to a greener and more cost-effective carbon fibre industry.
