TEACHING EXPERTISE
Dr Odion's teaching and academic interests are closely aligned with environmental engineering, environmental science and sustainable resource management. His areas of interest include environmental pollution and remediation, soil and water management, waste management and resource recovery, biochar technologies, contaminated land management, environmental sustainability, circular economy, research methods, data analysis, and the application of environmental science and engineering principles to real-world environmental challenges.
He is particularly interested in supporting students to connect scientific and engineering theory with laboratory, greenhouse, field and industry-based applications. His approach emphasises critical thinking, scientific evidence, practical problem-solving, research skills, data interpretation, environmental responsibility, and the development of solutions to contemporary environmental challenges.
