BIO

I am a PhD student at the Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition, where my research focuses on the biological mechanisms underlying musculoskeletal ageing during menopausal transition. My research focuses on the biological mechanisms underlying musculoskeletal ageing during the menopausal transition. I investigate how skeletal muscle and bone deteriorate across the lifespan, with particular emphasis on conditions such as Sarcopenia and Osteoporosis, which significantly impact physical function and quality of life in ageing female populations.
