Dedicated to fostering transformative learning environments that empower undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students to thrive as future healthcare leaders. She is committed to designing and advancing high‑quality educational pathways that develop expert nurses and health professionals who contribute meaningfully to global healthcare improvement and the advancement of the nursing profession.

Sharon has professional interests in the scholarship of teaching and learning and research of communication and teamwork, patient deterioration, cultural safety, healthcare workforce issues. She is particularly interested in simulation and new technology as modalities for teaching and learning. She is a passionate and devoted advocate of the student voice in co-creating programs for learning with the aim of building a knowledgeable, prepared and resilient future health care workforce.
