TEACHING EXPERTISE

Dr Devkota is the Unit Chair for HSN315 – Food Manufacturing and Process Innovation and HSN 320- Trends in Product Development. He has also taught Food Engineering and Processing, supporting undergraduate and postgraduate students in developing strong foundations in food manufacturing principles.

His teaching philosophy centres on engaging, applied learning that connects scientific theory with real-world food systems. He emphasises critical thinking, problem-solving, and the integration of structure–function concepts with practical processing and product development contexts.
