RESEARCH INTERESTS

Lisa’s research interests centre on wellbeing, belonging, transitions and professional practice across education. She is particularly interested in understanding how individuals experience and respond to periods of change, challenge and uncertainty, and how educational environments and relationships can support positive outcomes.

Her research interests include student transition and belonging in higher education, widening participation and non-traditional pathways to university, student engagement and wellbeing, school counselling, critical incident response and recovery, educator wellbeing and resilience, reflective practice, professional learning, and inclusive educational environments.

A strong focus of Lisa’s research is applied scholarship that can be translated into practical frameworks, resources and approaches for educators, students and educational organisations.
