MrsLisa Henderson

Lisa teaches in the university enabling and transition program. Her teaching encompasses learning and teaching in critical thinking, academic literacies and and disciplin-specific units. 

Her teaching approach is student-centred, relational and inclusive, with a strong emphasis on making learning accessible while maintaining appropriate academic challenge. She aims to help students connect theory with professional practice, develop confidence as learners and build the academic and professional capabilities required for future study and employment.

Lisa uses authentic assessment, scaffolded learning, constructive feedback and reflective practice to support student development. Her teaching is informed by research and a strong interest in the role that belonging, connection and wellbeing play in student engagement and success.
