RESEARCH INTERESTS
Nanofibres, short polymer fibres, textile science.
Soft matter - multicomponent microstructured hydrogels for cell culture,
responsive hydrogels, suspensions of anisotropic particles.
Polymer science - coordination gels, polyelectrolyte nanomaterials
Biomaterials - nanostructured and hierarchical polymer scaffolds for cell
culture

chemistry and physics, colloidal crystal assembly and characterisation,
hydrogel synthesis, hydrogel nanostructuring, nanofibres, polymer chemistry

Characterisation techniques: electron microscopy, optical microscopy, confocal
