    Prof. Stambas has been awarded numerous competitive research and travel grants from local, national and international funding agencies including the NHMRC, ARC and AAI. Prof. Stambas has previously received a C.R. Roper Fellowship to undertake post-doctoral training at the University of Melbourne and was awarded a Gordon Ada Senior Travel Award from the Australian and New Zealand Society for Immunology.
