RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research primarily focuses on knowledge translation and implementation within healthcare, particularly its promotion via the meaningful inclusion of people with lived and living experience in transformations of practice and care. The major focus of my work is to promote and enable health equity for all Australians regardless of their health or socio-economic status, with a focus on the role and contribution of occupational therapy. Every research study I undertake is designed to change and improve practice and policy, as I strive to ensure my work makes a tangible difference to Australians with disability and disadvantage.
My particular areas of research interest are Long COVID, occupation and occupational therapy, mental health and wellbeing, knowledge translation / brokerage in allied health and health equity and justice.
