My research centres on creative advertising practice and is more broadly situated in the fields of media and communication and creative industires research. I work across multidisciplinary teams and draw on my 15 years in the advertising industry to advance the following three main research topics:

1) Investigating technological disruptions in creative industries practice, particularly the influence of artificial intelligence in the creative process of advertising professionals

2) Exploring the lived experiences of advertising practitioners who have navigated marginalisation related to their age or their identity as neurodivergent professionals

3) Tracing the production-consumption nexus of significant health promotion campaigns, examining both the practitioners who created them and their enduring cultural legacies
