RESEARCH INTERESTS
Professor Crisp has been actively involved in health and human services
research for the last 35 years, initially in program development and
evaluation in the areas of substance misuse, HIV/AIDS and health promotion. More recently, her research efforts have been in the areas of professional development and the transfer of professional knowledge. An ongoing interest which underpins Beth's work is the need to establish
measures and methodologies which form appropriate measures of evidence for the evaluation of complex programs in the human services. Her other main interest is in the interface between religion and spirituality and social work practice and her books include Re-imagining Religion and Belief for 21st Century Policy and Practice, and The Routledge Handbook of Religion, Spirituality and Social Work.
