RESEARCH INTERESTS

Alissa'a research is centred on improving clinical care in contact lenses and dry eye disease. She has been involved in large multi-centre sponsored clinical trials investigating the efficacy and safety of new treatments for dry eye. Currently, Alissa is undertaking independent research relating to quality of life impact of disease on patients and using patient reported outcome measures to develop a paradigm to assist with developing a patient-centred care approach for dry eye disease, aiming to enhance treatment strategies and overall patient experience.
