BIO

I am recognised internationally as a leading scholar in Critical Educational Psychology. My unique interdisciplinary positioning advances theory-to-practice scholarship connecting Psychology and Education.

Founded on ten years of practice experience as a psychologist in two Queensland government departments, I remain registered to practice with the Psychology Board of Australia, the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency, and the British Psychological Society (Division of Educational and Child Psychology). This status is critical to the research and teaching I undertake involving qualified practitioners (schoolteachers and psychologists) and students internationally in the health and education sectors supporting them to work in relationally oriented ways.
