RESEARCH INTERESTS
Often practice-based, my research has been disseminated in peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations in the thematic areas of:
- digital learning
- digital literacies and artificial intelligence
- digital practices
- open education
- peer capability building, and
- educational models.
A recent lead authored paper, Digital fluency - a dynamic capability continuum, provides a model and framework to inform curriculum development and learning support for digital capabilities (Cain & Coldwell-Neilson, 2024). It demonstrates the reciprocal relationship between my practice as an information science professional and my research interests.
