As a Committee member I contribute to the governance, policy and strategic direction for the Association. This is an Australian based not-for profit organisation that actively supports the use and understanding of information technology in libraries and the GLAM sector.

ADCET 's now annual Accessibility in Action Awards to recognise passion, innovation, good practice and leadership in accessibility. This award recognised the Accessibility Champions Program (ACP) at Deakin University and the many people involved in this distributed leadership approach. ..

The 2022 inaugural ADCET Accessibility in Action Awards celebrates work that actively improves accessibility for students and staff. This team award recognised work involved in the creation of the Active Reading Resource Guide, a cross-university project that involved Alyce Greenwood, Karla Coutts, Dr. Robyn Yucel, Sabina Robertson and myself

The Emerging Leader Award is aimed at a professional staff member who is usually in the first ten years of their career and is role modelling strong leadership behaviours and can demonstrate success in goal orientation and achievement.

Team award recognising a co-designed and delivered project involving 6 university divisional areas. Focus was on student as learner within, and as belonging, to digital learning environment. Course wide approach to supporting the student in building key literacies and shaping discipline content in scaffolded way as part of retention and success goals (transition pedagogy).

The peer-reviewed VALA Biennial Conference is widely recognised as the premier library and information technology conference within this region.

Through their projects, partnerships and services, academic libraries play a critical role in enabling the modern curriculum and supporting the transformation of learning and teaching and enabling student success. This hybrid conference aims to enhance the capability of university library staff to meet the challenges and opportunities afforded by a modern curriculum by providing a flexible and accessible hybrid professional learning and networking experience offering both a national and local lens.
