TEACHING EXPERTISE

Dr Srikanth Mateti volunteers to contribute to postgraduate teaching in nanomaterials, nanotechnology, mechanochemistry, green chemistry, and sustainable materials.

He teaches into

SLE706 – Frontier Techniques in Biotechnology and Nanotechnology and

SLE718 – Green Chemistry and Industrial Bioprocessing.

His teaching is research-led and connects fundamental concepts with practical examples from hydrogen storage, gas separation, boron nitride materials, two-dimensional nanomaterials, energy storage and advanced materials characterisation. He helps students understand how materials selection, processing conditions, structure and characterisation influence final performance. Dr Mateti also supports students through laboratory training, experimental planning, data interpretation, scientific writing and research communication. His teaching encourages students to connect coursework with real research and industry challenges and supports progression into research projects, HDR study and careers in advanced materials and clean-energy technologies.
