Katie's research interests focus on improving the preparation of future teachers through evidence-informed teaching, curriculum design and authentic professional learning. Her interests include Initial Teacher Education, Health and Physical Education pedagogy, teacher educator identity, authentic assessment, teacher and student wellbeing, professional experience, and interprofessional collaboration across Health and Education to prepare graduates for collaborative, contemporary practice.
