TEACHING EXPERTISE

Katie teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate Initial Teacher Education, with a strong focus on preparing confident, reflective and classroom-ready teachers. She has taught a range of units in Health and Physical Education, youth wellbeing and professional practice, supporting preservice teachers to develop the knowledge, skills and professional capabilities required for contemporary classrooms. Her teaching is underpinned by evidence-informed curriculum design, constructive alignment, authentic assessment and active learning, enabling students to meaningfully connect educational theory with professional practice.
