TEACHING EXPERTISE

Dr George is a clinician with a strong grounding in evidence-based practice demonstrated through her experience as a practising dietitian (>10 years) her vision is to bring these strengths to the Masters of Dietetics course through her role as Course Director.  Dr George has been involved in academic teaching since 2013 including Master of Dietetics, Nutrition undergraduate and postgraduate and allied health education and training. 

 

Her expertise lies in curriculum design, assessment renewal, and embedding authentic, industry‑aligned learning experiences, including the integration of private practice, leadership capability, and multidisciplinary care. She have led program‑level transformation within the Master of Dietetics, responding strategically to sector needs, student diversity, and evolving workforce demands.

 

Dr George's teaching has delivered measurable impact through enhanced student experience, improved access and equity in placements, and strengthened alignment between education, healthcare systems, and professional practice, supporting graduates to be work‑ready and adaptable in dynamic clinical environments.
