TEACHING EXPERTISE
Dr Hossain is actively involved in higher-degree research supervision and student mentoring. He is currently supervising two research students as principal supervisor and supporting four additional students as co-supervisor across applied AI, machine learning, autonomous systems, and related research areas. He has also successfully supervised one PhD student to completion as principal supervisor and one as a co-supervisor. Through his supervision, he supports students in developing strong research methods, technical capability, publication skills, and practical understanding of how AI research can be translated into real-world applications.
