RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research interests lie in forensic chemistry, particularly the invesitigation of illicit drug manufacture and trafficking in collaboration with police/forensic agencies.
Under my supervision, students will develop synthetic, organic chemistry skills, and become proficient in analytical techniques—with a particular focus on forensically relevant techniques—for the characterisation of new chemical species. Through my projects, students will have the opportunity to liaise with Victoria Police Forensic Services Department. My projects will be of interest to students that enjoyed SLE313 Forensic Analysis and Interpretation and/or SLE318 Synthetic and Medicinal Chemistry in their undergraduate course.
NB: I cannot be the primary supervisor for PhD students at this time.
