TEACHING EXPERTISE
Dr Kerui Zhai is an accounting educator with expertise in financial accounting, sustainability reporting, accounting ethics, and financial statement analysis. He teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programs and is committed to developing students’ technical competence, analytical capability, critical thinking, and professional judgement.
Dr Zhai’s teaching philosophy emphasises authentic learning, professional relevance, and student partnership. Through contemporary business cases, company reports, data analysis, and technology-enabled learning activities, he helps students connect accounting concepts with real organisational challenges and professional practice.
Dr Zhai has led curriculum renewal in sustainability reporting, financial statement analysis, and professional ethics, ensuring that learning materials remain aligned with emerging standards, regulatory developments, and employer expectations. He has also developed innovative assessment designs that promote independent problem-solving, strengthen academic integrity, and improve students’ readiness for contemporary accounting careers.
