RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr Kos undertakes research in the area of neurodivergence, with a focus on ADHD and education. At present, she is undertaking work to better understand the school experiences of ADHD and Autistic youth, and is passionate about co-designing all of her projects with young people, and where relevant, with school staff, parents and health professionals. Dr Kos has 20+ years of HDR supervision experience, having supervised students across Schools, Faculties, universities and countries, and is open to supervising research students in the areas of neurodivergence and education.

 

In addition, Dr Kos has expertise and interest in international development, particularly in relation to disability and inclusion in the education sector. She is currently focussed on collaborations in Timor Leste.
