TEACHING EXPERTISE

Dr Kos teaches undergraduate and postgraduate units in the Disability and Inclusion stream. She will teach HDS209 in Trimester 1, 2026 and HDS106 in Trimester 2, 2026. She is a strong advocate for Universal Design for Learning, and thus strives to ensure teaching and learning are accessible to all of her students. This helps meet the learning needs of her students and the sectors in which they will work in the future.

Dr Kos is a supportive and open supervisor for her research students. She successfully supervised the research of three Masters students who  completed their studies in Disability and Inclusion. She is currently suprvising three HDR students. One is co-designing a study with Level 5 and 6 students with ADHD to understand wellbeing at school. Another is investigating the role Teaching Assistants have in supporting young neurodivergent people in schools; and the other, is looking into school non attendance in ADHD populations. She is also supervising two Masters student and one Honours student, who are all undertaking research in the neurodivergence space. Dr Kos is open to talking with potential students about research in the area of neurodivergence and schools, but cannot commit to supervising additional students until 2027.
