DrCharlotte Wilders

I have been working in education for the past 20 years, with experience as an early childhood and primary teacher, junior school leader, literacy specialist, assistant principal and now as a Principal at a primary school. For the past three years, I’ve also been working at Deakin University, where I contribute to courses focused on building capacity in professional experience, the role of play in children’s learning, guiding engaged and resilient learners, and planning for assessment in teaching and learning.

Throughout my career, I have taught in England, Belgium, and Australia, gaining a rich understanding of different educational contexts. I am committed to ensuring that children’s voices are heard and valued, both in the classroom and in educational research.
