BIO

Dr Andrew (Fenghao) Wang is a Lecturer in the Management Discipline at Deakin Business School. He holds a PhD in Management from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research focuses on leadership in teams, particularly how leaders manage emotions, relationships, and interactions to support effective team functioning. His work offers an emotion-focused perspective on leadership by showing that leaders play an important role in shaping how people feel, relate, and work together. His research appears in leading management journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology (ABDC A*) and Personnel Psychology (ABDC A*).

Andrew teaches core first-year undergraduate units, including MMM111 Managing Self and Others and MMM132 Management, and co-supervises doctoral research. He also works regularly with DeakinCo to support the design and evaluation of leadership development programs for industry partners.
