RESEARCH INTERESTS

How do universities develop the capability of both the professionals they educate and the educators who prepare them? Why do some educational innovations transform learning while others fail to achieve lasting change? What enables universities to continuously improve educational quality while responding to changing professional, societal, and technological demands?

These questions underpin my research in engineering education and higher education.

My research investigates how curriculum, academic development, educational leadership, and organisational culture interact to improve educational quality and graduate outcomes. Working at the intersection of engineering, higher education, and professional practice, I develop evidence-informed approaches that strengthen curriculum renewal, support academic capability, improve student learning, and inform educational policy and practice.
