RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research focuses on two main strands. Cyberpsychology relates to the study of online behaviours and my particular interests are in interpersonal experiences, whether in intimate relationships, such as with sexting and sext dissemination and the establishment of consent online, online dating and group pages, cyberbullying in various contexts, and gaming as a unique ecosystem. I have a specific interest in the online experiences of trans and gender-diverse individuals, as well as understanding how to help parents and carers in their roles to support young people in developing strong digital literacy skills.

My organisational psychology research focuses on work-life interface issues, including transitions such as entering the workforce, parental and carer's leave, and retirement, promoting psychological health and safety in workplaces from an integrated approach, and specific interests in the experiences of neurodivergent workers and how organisations can better support these workers to flourish.
