RESEARCH INTERESTS
Karen is passionate about conducting research in collaboration with the refugee community, corporate sector and policy makers to explore and reimagine refugee resettlement models. In practice, she advocates for the human right to access meaningful and decent employment and education for people from refugee and asylum-seeking backgrounds and works with her team to design and implement customised solutions and programs.
Karen is looking to supervise graduate projects on refugee/migrant employment, education pathways and rethinking refugee resettlement. Please contact her via email if you are interested, including a brief description of your proposed project (200 words) along with a statement (50 words) of why you are passionate about this topic.
