RESEARCH INTERESTS

I prioritise research and supervision that advance the fields of post qualitative and/or decolonial education research and scholarship in innovative critiques of education systems, practices and narratives, and in identifying and developing creative possibilities for change. I am especially interested in:

 

Understanding and enacting literacy, reading and writing differently

Higher Education epistemology, narratives, discourses, policy, pedagogy, curriculum, assessment, and possibilities for the future

Decolonising education

Projects at the nexus of literary studies and education

Education, teaching and/or academia in fiction

Education and ethics
