DrBukky Tokede

Dr Tokede's research focuses on Life Cycle Assessment, Sustainability, Circularity Assessment in the Infrastructure and Building Sector. He is particularly interested on advancing understanding about the data requirements for LCA impact modelling, supporting sustainable decision-making on material choices, design changes, and process improvements.

Dr Tokede develops quality LCA research with theoretical, applied, and methodological contributions to the field to achieve industry‑engaged, impact‑driven research aligned with Deakin’s Research and Innovation agenda.

A practical implication of his research is to foster research integration and provide intellectual leadership to build research capacity with Industry practitioners, Public-sector organisation and Policy-makers. His work aims to deepen the nexus between the academia and practice thereby bridging the gap between the research evidence and industry practice.
