RESEARCH INTERESTS
Marshall maintains a research track record in lifestyle medicine and health services research for oncology, surgery, gastroenterology, ageing, mental health, and public health. She has a special interest in patient and family-centred models of care, rural and remote health, and wasting syndromes. Marshall has over 100 publications (80% Q1; >4500 citations) and has presented her work nationally and internationally, including invited presentations to government. In 2026, she was one of the lead authors across a Lancet Series Equitable Cancer Outcomes for Rural and Remote Communities.
