RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr Hettiarachchi's current research focus is in human performance (e.g. mental workload, fatigue, and situational awareness) analysis using multimodal physiological signals, including brain waves measured via electroencephalography (EEG), heart rate variability measured via electrocardiography (ECG), galvanic skin response (GSR) and eye-tracking. She has also contributed into brain-computer-interface (BCI) research working on analysis algorithms to improve BCI-accuracy.
