Child Mental Health
- Early Intervention in Child and Adolescent Mental Health: Developing and implementing strategies, including ACT, lifestyle approaches (diet, exercise, sleep) and other novel therapies, to improve mental health outcomes.
- Surf Therapy for Mental Health: Exploring the use of surf therapy as an early intervention for young people at risk of disengagement from education and community.
- Child Anxiety: Understanding and addressing anxiety disorders in young people through evidence-based interventions.
Mental Health and Sport
- Mental Health in Elite Sport: Investigating individual mental health challenges in elite athletes, the effectiveness of clinical interventions, and broader mental health systems within high-performance environments.
- Trauma and Trauma-Informed Practice in Sport: Examining the impact of trauma on athletes and advancing trauma-informed approaches within sports organizations to enhance support and care.
- Lived and Living Experience Workforce Development in Elite Sport
- Capacity Building in Sports Organisations: Strengthening the ability of high-performance and community sports organizations to support mental health and well-being across the elite sport ecosystem.
