RESEARCH INTERESTS

Professor Miller's research interests include:


* Alcohol-related violence in licensed venues;
* Predictors of violence;
* Alcohol/drug use in rural populations;
* The behaviour of vested interests such as the global alcohol industry

* Trauma-informed and shame sensitive practice

* Relationship interventions in reduction of family violence

* Impacts of Childhood Corporal Punishment and other Adverse Childhood Experiences

Prof Miller has over 300 publications in the field and presents at national
and international conferences.
